Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Training
Aahung, in collaboration with the Moawin Foundation, successfully organized comprehensive teacher training for government-adopted schools in Jhelum, Punjab. A total of 25 primary school teachers were trained on how to address the sensitive topic with students, how to help them communicate better, and to have the confidence to be able to report sexual abuse. The training has played a pivotal role in equipping teachers with the necessary knowledge and skills to educate and support young students in matters related to SRH. Through interactive sessions and engaging activities, Aahung has empowered teachers to address these topics with sensitivity and confidence. These trainings promote healthy attitudes, behaviors, and decision-making among students by fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment. The collaboration between Aahung and the Moawin Foundation has proven to be a significant step towards enhancing the quality of education and promoting overall well-being in Moawin Foundation schools in Jhelum, Punjab.
